An antique Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze figure of the Buddha, seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base, wearing a robe decorated with animals and flowers, 18cm high, hollow, no base.
Provenance; Col. R.L Vance RAMC (Indian Medical Service) serving in India and Tibet in the early 20thC, up until the 1930's, by family tradition having received items as personal gifts from grateful patients.
